Cassandra Gomez: Pouring Love, Pouring Purpose

Growing Up With Heart

Raised in Brownsville, Texas, Cassandra Gomez grew up in a loving family that instilled in her humility, hard work, and heart. An all-around athlete, she learned early on the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Just as importantly, she had coaches who gave her not only skills, but a safe space to belong. Those lessons shaped the way she shows up today, as a teacher, entrepreneur, and community builder.

Creating Safe Spaces

As a Physical Education coach at IDEA Burke in San Antonio, Cassandra’s classroom is more than a gym. It’s a place where children build strength, confidence, and resilience. By bringing in an Endless Teacher Kit, she’s transformed her athletic space into a safe haven for students mirroring the same support her own coaches once gave her.

Her belief is clear: closing the gaps in education and athletics is essential for children to thrive.

Pouring Into Community

Outside of school, Cassandra pours her creativity into Evermore Mobile Bar, a business she co-founded alongside her soon-to-be husband, Emmanuel, to bring joy and connection to events across San Antonio and beyond. From handcrafted lemonades and aguas frescas to full mobile bar service, Evermore is about more than drinks, it’s about creating moments where people can gather, celebrate, and feel connected.

A Life of Love and Impact

Cassandra represents what it means to carry your roots forward. She is proof that you can lead in education while building in entrepreneurship, that you can honor where you came from while still expanding into new spaces. Whether she’s guiding students in the gym or serving families at events, Cassandra is bridging gaps, building safe spaces, and inspiring the next generation to reach their full potential.
